Minesweeper

Minesweeper is a game in which mines are hidden in a grid of squares. The safety squares have numbers that tell you how many mines are touching that square. You can use the number clues to solve the game by opening all the safe boxes. If you click the mine, you will lose the game!

How To Play

  • Your mission is to find and open safe numbers and avoid mines. Easy (8x8 or 9x9 with 10 mines), Medium (16x16 with 40 mines), and Hard (30x16 with 99 mines) are the three difficulty levels. The tiles can be opened with the left mouse button, and the flag may be placed in the mine using the right mouse button. Your flag will be transformed into a question mark when you press the right mouse button again. To reveal the remaining squares, mark all the mines that contain a number. Then, sort the results by that number.
  • Pressing the left and right mouse buttons simultaneously forms a chord. An empty square will be created whenever you open a tile that does not contact a mine; subsequent tiles will then open in every direction until they reach the tiles with numbers. Clicking at random until you open a big hand with lots of numbers is a frequent technique to start the game. But the chord will burst if you put the right number of flags on the wrong square. The clock shows the time in seconds, while the counter counts the number of flagless mines. You can find the optimal time for each level of difficulty in Minesweeper.
